Matt Ebden

AUSTRALIA

Born in Durban, South Africa, Matthew Ebden played his first tournament at the tender age of 5. Idolising Andre Agassi, Stefan Edberg and Wayne Ferreira as a child, and later on, Pat Rafter and Roger Federer, qualifying for his first Grand Slam main draw at the Australian Open 2010. In 2011, Ebden ranked in the top 100 for the first time at No. 86, and consequently earned a nomination for ‘Most Improved Player of 2011’, following a rise of 110 places.

Since beginning his professional career in 2007, Matthew Ebden is yet to win an ATP Singles Title, but is a star on the rise.
