The Serbian player finished 2011 and 2012 at No. 9. He achieved career-high No. 8 on Apr. 2, 2012 after reaching the Miami QF. Tipsarevic was unranked from Oct. 13, 2014 through Apr. 12, 2015 following left foot surgeries in May 2014 and Sept. 2014. He broke back into the top 100 on Feb. 13, 2017 before undergoing surgery for both hamstring tendons on Sept. 28, 2017.
