Dominic Thiem

AUSTRIA

Nicknamed the “Dominator”, Dominic Thiem began playing tennis at the age of six. Born in Wienerneustadt, Austria in 1993 to father, Wolfgang, and mother, Karin – both professional tennis coaches. Coached by Günter Bresnik since age nine, Thiem’s favourite play is the forehand on surface clay, with Vienna and Kitzbühel being his favourite tournaments.

Since beginning his professional tennis career in 2011, Thiem has won 8 ATP singles titles.
