Destanee Aiava

AUSTRALIA

Labelled as the player to watch, Destanee Aiava is Australia’s own rising star. Taking to tennis at a young age, Destanee began representing Australia as a junior player at the of 12. Burning up the court in 2015, Destanee made her professional debut at the Burnie International, and has since climbed the leader board ranking 7 in Australia. 

Making her Grand Slam debut at the Australian Open at age 16, Destanee became the first player to be born in the 2000s or later to compete in a major tournament.

Destanee is yet to win WTA singles titles.
