Eugenie Bouchard has been confirmed

Eugenie Bouchard has been confirmed to play the second match at the 2018 Priceline Pharmacy Kooyong Classic on Thursday against Australian teenager Destanee Aiava.

The 23-year-old from Canada and former world No. 5 who made the final at Wimbledon in 2014 and the semi-finals at both the Australian and French Opens in that same years will prepare for the Australian Open with a match against the 17-year-old who last year was the first player born this century to play in a Grand Slam.

In its 30th anniversary the Kooyong Classic will host Bouchard along with nine other players on day three with four other matches soon to be announced by tournament director Peter Johnston.
