The Kooyong Common and Activities

A unique experience to enjoy at the Classic is the beautiful Kooyong Common on the famous Kooyong Grass courts. Open from 9am daily, the Common offers a large variety of food & drink options and a range of activation opportunities to enjoy.

Activities in the Common and around the grounds include:

Jumbo Screen to watch play
Grab food and drinks from one of the food trucks and settle relax under the umbrella shade at the tables and chairs and take in the action from centre court on the jumbo screen.
Food offerings in Kooyong Common area
Across the day there are a range of food and drinks available including Coffee, Pastries, Rolls & Wraps, Schnitzels and Greek Fare.
Mitchelton Bar, Airstream and Versa Cocktails
Settle down and enjoy a drink from our event partners with a variety of wines on offer from Mitchelton and cocktails and spritzers from Versa.
Tennis Victoria activities for kids
Children can participate in the supervised mini tennis, speed serving and other events being managed by staff from Tennis Victoria.
Lawn Bowls
Roll a few across the grass with lawn bowling supervised by locals from Auburn Bowls Club.
Music
Relax and be entertained each day from 5pm - 7pm with music from our acoustic duo Nicole and Tony.
DJ Trumpet / Sax Player Charlie
Charlie is a popular feature each year in Centre Court and he keeps he crowds entertained between points and match breaks.
Pickleball
The Fastest growing Game in the USA is available so come and try and see some of Australia’s best players in action.
Merchandise Shop
Check out the Merchandise presented by AM Sportswear and the Kooyong Pro Shop located under the Centre Court area next to the player entrance.
